Homeowners FAQ Answers:
Do I have to bag everything and have it ready for you? No. Actually, we prefer to do it ourselves. Our process includes using barcodes to assign items to a specific room in your home. It makes it easier for everyone during delivery because we deliver garments back to the room they came out of.
Should I take down my window treatments? No. Our service includes takedown and rehang of all window treatments. We take detailed pictures of each room and window, and then barcode each item based on the room it came from. We prefer to take them down ourselves.
I need clothes to go back to work/school. Can I have things cleaned right away? Yes! During our appointment, we encourage you to separate any garments that you need back right away. We will have these cleaned and returned within 24-48 hours. The rest of your items can then be stored until you are ready.
I already use a local Dry Cleaner. Can't I just use them? We specialize in the restoration of textiles from fire, water or mold. We have additional processes for removing odors and stains related to these losses, that a normal dry cleaner doesn't have. In addition, we have an entire department dedicated and experienced with the insurance claims process.
Do you offer storage? Yes. During our first appointment, we estimate the amount of storage time and bill your insurance company accordingly. Then, we deliver whatever you need for the time being and store the rest until you are ready. If more storage time is required than originally thought, we can discuss with your adjuster.
I'm staying in a hotel or apartment until my house is repaired. Can you deliver there? Yes! We know this is a stressful experience and our job is to make it easier. We will gladly deliver to your temporary residence and store the rest of your items until you are moved back in your home.
Do you have references or examples of your work? Yes. Our Testimonials page is filled with recent customer surveys and emails. In addition, our Before & Afters page shows you great examples of what we can restore.
How does payment work? If you have filed a claim through your insurance company, we will ask for your claim number and insurance adjuster contact. Then, we work directly with your adjuster and invoice through them. Most of the time, payment is made directly to us from the insurance carrier. Sometimes they send a two-party check to you, in which case, you will need to sign it and forward to us for payment.
If you don't have insurance or aren't filing a claim, we can provide you with an estimate of services and payment will be made to us directly from you.
One of my family members has allergies and uses a specific detergent. Can you accommodate? Yes! We just ask you to let us know during our first visit, so we can make arrangements to use that detergent.
I received my delivery. Why does everything have a tag and barcode? Our proprietary Textile Solutions system includes attaching a tag with barcode to all textiles (or group of textiles for bulk laundry by pound). That way, our system can track the progress of your garments throughout the restoration process. During packaging, your item is scanned into a package, and then scanned into your home for final delivery. We keep the barcodes on each item to ensure they are returned to the correct home, and correct room, for each customer.
