Insurance Professionals FAQ Answers

Do you inventory on-site or at your facility? We are able to do both. However due to circumstances in the home like poor lighting, or damage from the loss, we prefer to pack-out all textiles and inspect & inventory them at our facility. Our proprietary “Textile Solutions” system allows us to bar-code bags of textiles in the home, and then scan them into our facility, ensuring nothing is left behind.

What area do you cover? We proudly serve all of Western & Central NY, and Northern PA. This includes major cities like Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Watertown, Ithaca, Binghamton, Corning/Elmira, Olean, Jamestown, & Erie/Bradford/Warren, PA.

You have a large territory. What are your travel or delivery charges? None! We DO NOT charge travel or delivery fees anywhere in our territory, including our Emergency/Rush Clothing Delivery. We treat each customer, whether five minutes or three hours away, exactly the same. (Some fees may apply to areas outside our territory, or extreme circumstances like multiple small deliveries requested by the insured.)

My company has a preferred vendor list, are you approved? Most likely, yes! We are an approved vendor for many carriers. Simply check with us to find out.

I see miscellaneous fees from other Textile Vendors. What additional fees do you charge for? 
We DO NOT charge for:
• Delivery, Travel or Trip Charges
• Inventory Management
• Boxes and/or packaging
 
We may charge (when applicable):
• Removal & Rehanging of Window Treatments, by hour
• Additional Storage after two free months have expired

Insurance Adjusters FAQ Answers

When will I receive an estimate & what is included? We take pride in the responsible & ethical way we handle our losses. That's why our promise to you is to communicate the scope of loss as soon as possible, to make sure we are all on the same page, before proceeding.

• If we have your information the day we are at the loss, our promise is to call you and discuss the scope of loss over the phone before we begin our packout. This includes our analysis of what is affected and needs cleaning, as well as a verbal estimate.

• If we do not know who is assigned to the loss right away, we will complete the packout conservatively, and contact you as soon as we are aware.

• A detailed Scope of Loss & Estimate document will be sent to you as soon as we have completed inspecting and inventorying all items back at our facility. This document includes:
• Total Estimate Cost
• Estimated Rush, Short Term and/or Final Delivery dates
• Rooms of the house affected and what categories of textiles we took (Bedding, Closets etc)
• Scope of Loss paragraph detailing our involvement in the loss so far
• Link to pictures of the loss, in an online, password-protected gallery
 

When will I receive the final invoice, & what is included? Our final invoice is submitted once cleaning is completed, usually 1-3 weeks, depending on the size of loss. That way, any non-salvageable textiles are removed from the invoice (no charge), and placed on a separate detailed inventory list.

Our final invoice packet includes:
• Line item invoice of all restored softgoods. (Can be sorted by delivery group or by room if requested)
• Detailed non-salvageable inventory (if applicable), including Brand, Size, Color & Style where available
• Signed Authorization Form. If delivery has been completed, the signed Completion Form will be included also.
 

My company requires invoices in Xactimate or Symbility. Can you accommodate? Yes! Although we usually bill through out “Textile Solutions” system using Xactimate prices, we also have accounts with Xactimate & Symbility. Simply request the format you need, and we will make sure it arrives to you that way.

Why do you bar-code everything, and does this cost more? Our proprietary “Textile Solutions” system sets the new standard for all other Textile Restoration companies. To ensure accuracy and efficiency, we bar-code all packout bags in the home, scan them into our facility, bar-code each textile, scan the finished products into packages, and scan the packages back into the home. Although this does require extra labor, we DO NOT charge additionally for this service. It enables us to move losses more quickly through the process and create more detailed reports for our insurance clients.
