Anne Kuczkowski has been working with us as a part-time cleaner since September 2019! She provides general cleaning of all areas at our Hamburg plant location. Her time, effort, hard work, and dedication in keeping our 11,000-square-foot production facility clean is critical to our ability to produce a quality product, day in and day out. We are honored to feature her in this week’s employee spotlight!
Anne is originally from Tonawanda but has lived in Hamburg for the past 32 years. She is a full-time Toddler Teacher and does cleaning as her “side gig.” In her spare time, she enjoys bowling, bike riding, reading, walking the beach, collecting beach glass, photography, and occasionally, yoga. A few fun facts about Anne include; her favorite restaurant is Lucia’s on The Lake (a fantastic choice!), her dream vacation is to visit friends in England and her ice cream of choice is Chocolate Panda Paws.
A favorite story Anne has shared with us was when she and her daughter attended a Billy Joel concert not too long ago. While waiting patiently in line to enter the arena, they were approached by a stranger who offered them front-row seating. Quite an upgrade! Turns out, Billy Joel regularly offers surprise upgrades to randomly chosen fans at his concerts. Needless to say, it was a special night!
Reflecting on her time at Urban Valet so far, Anne’s favorite moment was helping our Production Manager — Erica — coax our neighbor’s chicken back through the fence after it had gotten out of its pen. Just another day in the life! We want to extend a huge thank you to Anne for keeping us clean, organized, smiling, and…. chicken free. So, here’s a sincere thank you from the entire team. We couldn’t do it without you!
